Using the creative and healing power of art
Since 1993, Orestes Gonzalez, who holds a Master's degree in Art Education and Sociocultural Animation, has been teaching courses on Creativity, Art, and Well-being at all educational levels. He has been invited to do so by universities in Cuba, Mexico, Spain, and the United States.
Several of his students have been first-prize winners in Florida art competitions.
In 2010, the Osceola Center for the Arts, Celebrating Hispanic Artists and Culture, selected “Ciudad en Rojo,” a piece by Cuban artist Orestes Jesús González, as the Best in Show winner.
In 2016, he founded Art Creativity & Wellness Academy, which has a long-standing reputation for excellence in integrating artistic and wellness practices to enhance the creativity and well-being of artists and other professionals, and not professionals.
We teach these courses at all educational levels, from elementary to university, health and community.
At Art Creativity & Wellness Academy, we believe that art is an essential part of the human experience and that, through it, everyone has the potential to develop their creativity and well-being.
