Orestes Gonzalez has over thirty years of professional experience as a Visual Artist and Professor of Art, Creativity and Mental Health at all levels of education in Cuba, Mexico, Spain and the United States. · From St. John the Apostle School, Damaris Acosta and Ernest Gonzalez, were awarded second prize winner in a competition at the Christopher Columbus High School Academic Olympics. 2012.
· Alfredo Hued, from the Miami Lakes Art Academy, in the category of level of middle school, won the First Prize Visual Arts in Monsignor Edward Pace High School Academic Olympics, Miami, Fl.; December 1, 2012.
· From Sport and Dance Center, Kehily Gonzalez, in the category of KG level , was awarded first prize winner; and from Miami Lakes Art Academy, Julian Hernandez, in the category of level of grade 4, was awarded first prize winner too. And from Art and Sport Center USA, other two students, Amanda Melisa Leyva (grade 4) and Damaris Acosta (grade 8) , won honorable mentions. In the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair & Exposition Inc. 2013.
